A mentoring fellowship for young ladies, ages 12-19
Tru ID is an exceptional ministry led by qualified volunteer professionals who are equipped to mentor and minister to young ladies, ages 12-19.
The purpose of Tru ID is to teach young ladies that their true identity is in Christ. The goal of Tru ID is to equip young ladies with tools to empower their lives in a positive way, to have the confidence needed to effect change, and be motivated enough to go after what they can change positively in their lives.
We understand that the most powerful tool for our young ladies is to know who they are in Christ, how to respect themselves and others, and how to follow their goals as they align their lives with the Word of God.
We believe our responsibility to our Tru ID girls is to be a positive influence and example for them, so they can follow us as we follow hard after Christ. Secondly, we are to express God's love and purpose for them through ministry, prayer and caring. Thirdly, to develop a love in them for God and to help the Tru ID girls understand that God truly loves them.
